For your safety and comfort, please review the following guidance before attending our show.

  • Our onboarding team is experienced, professional and respectful. As part of the onboarding process, a member of the team will help you with the following:

    • Putting on and tightening the VR Headset

    • Putting on headphones

    • Putting on the haptic vest and securing the straps

    • Connecting cables

    • Guide you away from any hazards while in the experience.

    • Assist with the removal of equipment.

    Although we aim to keep contact to a minimum, we may at times need to be close to you or touch you to complete the above. You are welcome to elect a member of the team who aligns with your gender to onboard you if one is present.

    Please make us aware of any discomfort during the onboarding process.

  • Those with a sensitivity to loud noises should make a member of the team aware during the onboarding process so that your headset volume can be adjusted.

    For those who wear a hearing aid of a cochlear implant, the headphones we provide should fit snugly over any cables or clips you may wear. If not, our team will work with you to make sure your comfort is a priority.

  • The Baby Factory Is Closed has scenes featuring strobing lights and bright flashes that may not be suitable for people with photosensitive epilepsy. We would advise those affected, not to enter the VR experience.

  • Our live exhibited experience includes aerosolised scent in the form of essential oils. These oils are not harmful to the skin.

    The main scent in use is lavender.

    Please let a member of the team know if you are allergic to any airborne scents prior to booking so that we can advise.

  • The Baby Factory Is Closed makes use of haptic vests which may cause issues for people in the following conditions:

    • People With recent scull or chest injuries. Or people with nerve or bone conditions.

    • People with heart conditions or pacemakers.

    • Pregnant people.

    Other conditions may apply. if you are worried about the use of haptic vests but would still like to use one at the exhibition, please consult a medical professional for advice.

    We are also able to run the experience without a haptic vest. If you would like us to do this for you, please consult a member of the onboarding team.

  • The exhibition is a room scale VR experience. The experience makes use of both hands, although you can use the experience with only one.

    For those with impaired or restricted leg motion, we also have a seated version of the experience. Please ask a member of the team when booking your slot for this option.

  • The nature of VR Experiences often causes problems with people’s perception of space. As such, we would advise people with vertigo, other balance issues or extreme motion sensitivity not partake in the experience.

  • The experience contains medical imagery, confinement, enclosed spaces and heights.

    Please be sure to ask our team about any specific triggers you may have prior to booking your slot.

  • Every image in The Baby Factory Is Closed was crafted by human hands. This world was built by a studio of artists, designers and storytellers who understand the body, rage, and ritual from the inside out.
